At this stage, this wine shows more like a Grand Cru white Burgundy than a 4-year-old Paso Rhone. Meyer lemon, salt water and botanicals are a mere introduction to the depths of its aromas. Bright citrus and tropical fruits are backed by light strokes of mint and bay. The finish is still fresh and suspenseful. 100% Viognier

The nose exudes aromas of ripe melon, pineapple and lychee fruit backed by a pronounced mineral, wet stone character. The palate melds the ripe tropical fruit elements with the crisp mineral flavors that persist into the long, dry finish. [62% Roussanne, 24% Viognier, 7% Marsanne, 7% Grenache Blanc] 355 cases produced. $30.00 Bottle (Comus Wine Club-$25.50)

Exhibits aromas of candied lychee, pineapple and mango fruits, vanilla beans and perfumey jasmine notes. These elements all tie together in the wines rich, fruity, buttery mouthfeel.  The intense tropical fruit flavors persist in the finish with a subtle shadow of crème brulee peaking in during the lingering aftertaste.
