Ron and Marilyn Denner decided to pursue the dream of establishing a premium quaility estate vineyard and winery following a long and successful career owning and operating Ditch Witch dealerships throughout the Western United Staes.  The search for the perfect vineyard site took more than a year and led the Denners to virtually every viticulture region in California.  They finally found the perfect property on which to establish the vineyard and winery when they purchased 156 acres of rocky, rolling hills west of Paso Robles, California.  The goal from day one has been to make the best possible wines from the unique mesoclimate of the estate vineyard.  The hot days and cold nights typical of the coastal climate along with the rocky, limestone hillside vineyards allows us to grow truly incredible grapes for our estate wines.  The ultra-modern gravity-flow winery was completed just in time for the 2005 harvest when thier son, Brian Denner, returned from making wine in Chile to become the winemaker.  Brian brought 10 years of experience, a degree in Enology, and a passion for the industry  to help him make the family wines.
