Black cherries, cinnamon and beef blood dominate while subtle notes of forest floor, caramel and bay offer support. Flavors of Boysenberry, venison and mushroom initiate a mouth-feel that starts out rustic but finishes opulent. Aged 18 months in 54% once used, 33% new and 13% neutral French oak. Of that 50% was in 225L Barriques and 50% in 500L Puncheon.
