2005 Syrah - Opens up with a notes of tar, roasted game, espresso, and ripe boysenberry/ pomegranate on the nose. These dark, brooding elements follow through on the palate and are buttressed by ample, ripe tannins and a long spicy, boysenberry finish. (87% Syrah, 7% Mourvedre, 6% Grenache). 92 Points ~Robert Parker (Wine Advocate). $36/bottle Past Releases (Sold Out): 2006 Theresa - Displays aromas of chalky minerality, pineapple and quava fruits, white roses and a subtle roasted nut character. On the palate, the wine reveals a rich, mineral body balanced by crips acidity and a long, nutty finish. 2006 Viognier - Exhibits aromas of candied lychee, pineapple and mango fruits, vanilla beans and perfumey jasmine notes. These elements all tie together in the wines rich, fruity, buttery mouthfeel. The intense tropical fruit flavors persist in the finish with a subtle shadow of crème brulee peaking in during the lingering aftertaste. 2005 Grenache - Offers upfront spicy aromas interlaced with jammy Kirsch, raspberry, dark chocolate, and crushed rock notes. The palate echoes these elements with a big, lush, mouthfeel, silky tannins, and a long fruity finish. 2005 Zinfandel - Our first Zinfandel release shouts out ripe raspberry and strawberry jam, sandalwood spice and toffee/cocoa powder aromas on the nose. On the palate these elements are echoed on the expansive, full mid-palate and long, spicy finish. The palate echoes these elements in a tight beam of jammy fruit and frames them with balanced acidity and soft tannins that draw out the long, smooth finish. 2004 Ditch Digger - A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre. It displays upfront aromas of raspberries, minerality, white pepper, dark chocolate, and spice. On the palate, the jammy fruit and pepper elements from the Grenache and Syrah are counter-balanced by the dark, meaty, brooding beast that is Mourvedre. The smooth tannins and balanced acidity slowly draw the curtain on the long, spicey finish. 2003 Syrah - Big, lush, ripe and intense on the palate, with a long beautifully well-balanced finish. 2004 Theresa - A blend of 50% Viognier and 50% Rousanne. It exhibits rich, ripe, yet elegant fruit and mineral complexities. 2002 Syrah - Clean, fresh and intense. It has a good long finish, with a healthy dose of very good French oak.
