Our club is named after Comus, the Greek god of revelry and nocturnal entertainments. As the son of Bacchus and Circe, Comus inherited talents from each; from his father, the culture of the vine and the mode of extracting its precious juice; from his mother, sorcery. Comus was always ready for a good laugh. With his combined talents he invented a magic potion which gave anyone who tasted it the head of a beast. We're fairly certain your head will remain intact, but we expect our wine "potion" will work its magic on your palate. |
