Saturday, September 28th, we'll take over the Comus Vista patio, enjoy live music, and a feast at a gourmet burger bar. We're excited to be working with Jensen Lorenzen of Larder Meat Co. Their pasture-raised local beef and awesome sides are the perfect complement for wine on the patio. We like to pull a few suprises out of the library at our events. Get excited to taste a couple wines you havent seen in a while!

We keep this one casual — so dress comfortably and come ready to relax and mingle. 

The Menu

Dry-aged local grass-fed beef burgers  
1/4 pounders with or without cheese, Wayward Bread Co. buns
assorted condiments and toppings

Pop Ups On the Patio

What is a pop up event?

A normal Saturday with a bonus! We pull a library wine out of our cellar and have some different members of our Krewe pour for you. Often these library wines are very limited in inventory — not enough to build a full event around — so we decided to share them with you in a relaxed setting on the patio. What better way to introduce you to our Krewe than over a tasting of some vintage Denner wines.

Flagship Flight Event

for Guests of Denner Vineyards

We are excited to announce our first Flagship Flight Event showcasing our most popular wines! On August 31st winemaker Anthony Yount will guide you through a lineup featuring five fantastic wines. His insightful and off-the-cuff narrative is a fun complement to the wines — questions and interaction are encouraged! This is a unique opportunity to learn about the Denner estate vineyard practices and winemaking philosophy directly from our team while enjoying the wines.

The Food

After the flight tasting, we'll move to the barrel room where chef Spencer Johnston will serve a seated luncheon thoughtfully created and expertly paired with a glass of Denner wine. Anthony, our winemaker, and the whole Denner Krewe will be available to answer any questions about the wines and what makes Denner Vineyards special.

Fall 2019 Preview Event

Members Only

The new sit-down, flight-style preview event was a big hit in the spring so we're pleased to offer it again this Fall. The Spring event sold out within days so we've opened up an additional session on Saturday! We will meet in the barrel room as Anthony walks us through the new fall wines.

After the flight tasting, a luncheon created by Chef Jeff Scott paired with a glass of wine will be served in the production room. The Denner production Krewe will be available to answer any questions about the wines. You will be able to select your club order and take it home with you that day or ship it if you would like. We hope to see you there!

Last year's Seafood Boil was a huge hit! So grab your tickets and join us for the 2019 seafood boil — a traditional summertime specialty where shellfish, sausages, corn on the cob and potatoes are boiled in a large pot of flavorful broth and served family-style, poured out on a table.

This seafood feast is enjoyed on the Comus Vista patio. Dave Auten of Auten Boys Catering will be serving up a hearty spread of clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, crab claws, langostino, corn, potatoes, garlic ham hock, mushrooms, and sausage. The featured wines of the evening will be a Vermentino (New release!), as well as some vintage Viognier and Grenache from the library — all excellent pairings for seafood. 

 


2018 Rosé Release

On Saturday, May 4th we will be releasing our newest vintage of Rosé. To celebrate the occasion, Chulo’s Latino Café will be offering their incredible shrimp tacos and we will be pouring current releases along with this newest addition.

2012 Horizontal Tasting - Saturday, March 16, 2019

Join us for Vintage Paso with an exploration of 2012 Vintages in one amazing flight. This horizontal tasting will feature our flagship wines, Ditch Digger, Dirt Worshipper, Mother of Exiles and Syrah.

This will be an intimate, educational tasting with our winemaking team — so questions and plenty of dialogue are encouraged! Cheese and charcuterie by Fromagerie Sophie will also be provided to complement the wines. 

This is also a great chance to see how some of the wines you may have in your cellar are aging or get an idea of how other vintages of these wines will evolve. A limited quantity of each will be available for sale at the conclusion of the event so don't miss out!

2016 Sacred Burro Release

Chef Jeff Jackson will be creating a five course meal expertly paired with Denner wines. This evening will be the first release of the 2016 Sacred Burro. Seating is extremely limited.

Join us on August 4th for an early introduction to the 2018 Fall release wines. This will be the only chance to taste and take home the new wines before allocation officially opens on August 7th. We'll be on the fermentation floor where you will have the opportunity to chat with the production team about how the wines were made. Small bites will also be available for your enjoyment paired with the new releases.

Here on the West Coast summertime gatherings mean barbecue for dinner. Saturday, June 23rd, we're taking a note from the other coast and would like to invite you to a seafood feast on the Comus Vista patio. The featured wines of the evening will be the Viognier, Theresa, Ditch Digger and a special library Ditch Digger — all excellent pairings for seafood.

Join us the first weekend of December as we celebrate two new releases:
 
the 2015 Sacred Burro and the 2014 Bassetti Vineyard Syrah

Our go-to Chef for this yearly Catalonian pairing, Tom Fundaro, will be creating a clam & chorizo stew with rustic bread and olive tapenade along with Chicken & Sausage Paella. We will be pouring current releases along with the two new wines.
