Sacred Burro Release at The Range in Santa Margarita

Chef Jeff Jackson will be creating a five course meal expertly paired with Denner wines. This evening will be the first release of the 2016 Sacred Burro. Seating is extremely limited.

Join us on August 4th for an early introduction to the 2018 Fall release wines. This will be the only chance to taste and take home the new wines before allocation officially opens on August 7th. We'll be on the fermentation floor where you will have the opportunity to chat with the production team about how the wines were made. Small bites will also be available for your enjoyment paired with the new releases.

Here on the West Coast summertime gatherings mean barbecue for dinner. On the East Coast one might instead think of a seafood boil — a traditional summertime specialty where shellfish, sausages, corn on the cob and potatoes are boiled in a large pot of flavorful broth and served family-style, poured out on a table.

Saturday, June 23rd, we're taking a note from the other coast and would like to invite you to a seafood feast on the Comus Vista patio. Dave Auten of Auten Boys Catering will be serving up a hearty spread of clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, crab claws, langostino, corn, potatoes, garlic ham hock, mushrooms, and sausage. The featured wines of the evening will be the Viognier, Theresa, Ditch Digger and a special library Ditch Digger — all excellent pairings for seafood. 

Seating is limited — bibs provided.

Kick off summer by joining us for good food and great wine! We close the winery, turn up the live music provided by Will Breman and enjoy Tri –Tip lunch provided by Brush Family Catering. We keep this one casual — so come dressed comfortable and ready to relax.

This is your chance to taste the new wines and order more of your favorites from the 2018 Spring release before allocation re-opens on February 5. The event will be held on the winery fermentation floor with small bites created by Mateo Rogers & Brittney Yracheta of Heirloom Catering.

Join us the first weekend of December as we celebrate two new releases:
the 2015 Sacred Burro and the 2014 Bassetti Vineyard Syrah

Our go-to Chef for this yearly Catalonian pairing, Tom Fundaro, will be creating a clam & chorizo stew with rustic bread and olive tapenade along with Chicken & Sausage Paella. We will be pouring current releases along with the two new wines.

2 0 1 0   H O R I Z O N T A L   T A S T I N G 

July 15th, 2017 

We’re taking a trip back to the 2010 vintage in our first ever Horizontal Tasting. We’ll explore 2010 Viognier, Zinfandel, Ditch Digger and Mother of Exiles in one amazing flight. This will be an intimate, educational tasting with our winemaking team, so questions and plenty of dialogue are strongly encouraged! Cheese and charcuterie will also be provided to complement the wines.

This is a great chance to see how some of the wines you may have in your cellar are aging, or get an idea of how other vintages of these wines will evolve. A limited quantity of some of these wines will be available for sale at the conclusion of the event, so don’t miss out!
