— This wine is part of the 2013 Dirt Worshipper Trifecta —
With the fantastic 2013 vintage, we endeavored on an aging vessel trial with the Dirt Worshipper that took us on a journey that was a little unexpected but provided us with 3 very different and delicious wines. This original version of the 2013 Dirt Worshipper has simply been cellar aged since its original bottling in 2015.

Fantastic aromas of violets, cinnamon, damp earth, black olive, and nutmeg. On the palate, there are elements of cured meats, black walnut white pepper. The tannins are silky and the finish is seamless and long.
As this wine unfolds, the nose is packed with seared blackberries, gardenia, olive tapenade, white pepper and spent campfire. The palate evolves from blueberries and violets to smoked meats and rolling tobacco – changing with every sip you take. The finish lingers like the still of a summer night, becoming denser, richer and more intense as it passes.
