81% Grenache, 9% Mourvedre, 9% Syrah, 1% Roussanne

This bold Grenache offers a nose full of black cherry, wild raspberry, and dried porcini mushrooms. The palate meanders between pomegranate, Pamplona chorizo, and Sarsaparilla, while the finish, full of soft and ripe tannins, provides a subtle grip and alluring texture. Bright acidity polishes this beauty off with a mineral-tinged finish that lingers for over a minute. Vinous: 93

The soft crackle of vinyl spinning followed by the warm rich sound of its first notes: black licorice, plums, crushed rocks and Szechuan pepper.  This wine offers the deep satisfaction of an age old ritual that never goes out of style.  Its finish is heady, dense and tightly wound, with texture like an Etta James record – gritty, yet soft and sweet.

This is like a song that sends chills up your spine no matter how many times you’ve heard it.  It brings memories of summer rain, rose petal, Bing cherries with hints of lemon peel, botanicals and fresh cut herbs.  It’s physical, yet respectful – hitting the palate with serious density, but finishing lightly.
