100% Viognier

Juicy peach, lemon oil and orange marmalade are supported with hints of flint and mineral notes. The palate is full-bodied, with flavors of nectarine, buttered brioche and honey. The rich, complex flavors are cut with a touch of tannin and bright acidity on the long fresh finish.

Tasting Notes
Savory white peaches, lemon peel, flint and salted crackers are just a few of the opening aromatics of this beautiful white. The palate is unctuous yet vibrant, delivering flavors of flower oil, orange marmalade and a hint of vanilla. The fin- ish is pure, fresh and focused as it lingers long after the wine is gone.  


2014

Vineyard: 100% Estate – Willow Creek District, Paso Robles 

Fermentation: Whole cluster pressed to barrels and tanks for feral ferment. Malolactic fermentation complete. 

Cooperage & Elevage: Aged for 11 months in equal parts concrete, stain- less steel, and new French oak.

Tasting Notes
White peaches, Ylang Ylang, lemon curd and wet stones are the dominant aromatics on this expressive white. More savory elements of roasted hazelnuts, apple pie and dried slab apricots develop on the palate. The finish offers great depth and richness with profound acidity lending length to the finish.

From its first notes you know it’s going to be a classic.  It has everything you want – Meyer lemon, poached pear and jasmine are the opening hook. But this is no 3-minute pop single.  The chorus blends beeswax, wet stones and butterscotch - encouraging you to sing along.  Even long after it’s finished you’ll find yourself humming its tune.

Cooperage & Elevage: Fermented and aged 5 months in 45% stainless steel, 30% used French puncheons, 20% new French puncheons, and 5% concrete.

Powerful aromas of jasmine, lemon oil and toasted brioche are supported by a trace of flint.  An incredibly well integrated palate balances white peaches, apricot and citrus sorbet before evolving into an unctuous mid-palate that is focused by precise acidity.

Tasting Notes
The 2011 Viognier features dynamic aromas of wet stones, citrus oil, lemon grass and honey suckle.  Rich flavors of orange peel, pineapple and caramel evolve into an unctuous mid-palate that finishes mineral-laced and fresh.


2010

Blend: 100% Viognier 

Vineyard: 100% Estate – Willow Creek District, Paso Robles 

Fermentation: Partial spontaneous Malolactic fermentation. Lees stirred weekly through primary and secondary fermentation.

Cooperage & Elevage: Aged for 3 months in 50% Stainless, 23% New French Puncheon, 21% Used French Puncheon and 6% concrete.

Alc: 14.4%

Tasting Notes
Tropical aromas of pineapple and passion fruit give way to lemon curd and nutmeg. White peaches, guava, and vanilla bean create an indulgent flavor profile. The oily mouth coating texture starts out rich, but finishes fresh and lively.
