2022 Cirrus

2022 Cirrus

79% Grenache, 12% Syrah, 5% Carignan, 3% Cabernet Franc, 1% Mourvèdre

A symphony of orange cranberry, wild strawberry, warmed honey, crème brulé, chaparral, and floral notes of rose hips and jasmine explode from the glass.  An Intriguing mix of flavors continue to change with time in the glass starting with white pepper, Kirsch liqueur, clove, cardamom, and Toluca chorizo.  The savory and fruity components are in perfect balance while the fine, silky tannins are like satin on your tongue. A dark core of seared plum, cassis, Szechuan peppercorn, and calycanthus introduces our latest cloud series wine. Powerful notes of tamarind, Spanish chorizo, muddled strawberry, and a hint of cinnamon grace the palate. Densely packed on the mid-palate with supple tannins and briny acidity power the long, lingering finish.
