2023 Zinfandel

An exotic nose of lilac, bergamot, baked satsuma plum and cracked pepper.  Grenadine and kirsch liqueur envelop the palate with complex layers of orange oil and sandalwood.  Firm in structure but plush and vibrant, the wine’s acidity is balanced by its intense fruit expression.

Cooperage & Elevage: Aged for 16 months in 500L and 225L French and Hungarian oak barrels 20% new oak.

Fermentation: Monte Rosso - 3-day cold soak, 14-day maceration in open top tanks keeping temperature under 80°F.  Willow Creek - 5-day cold soak followed by 12-day maceration with twice-daily pump overs.  Fermented with 15% whole clusters.
