2024 Dirt Worshipper

2024 Dirt Worshipper

99% Syrah, 1% Roussanne

Tasting Notes: Cool climate Syrah grown in a warm year can create a deeply brooding and generous wine.  Toasty, smokey notes of Espresso crema and candied bacon intertwine with dark chocolate covered acai berries.  Dried violets and lavender bring a floral lift to the otherwise beastly persona.  The palate is full bodied and fleshy with blueberry cobbler, melted licorice, baker’s chocolate, and ground pepper pulsing through to the plump and opulent finish.  You’ll have a hard time laying this one down, but as always time in bottle will reward the patient.
